Here a mother is building a nest to her babies. The connection between the mother and her baby birds is a symbioses, a physical and emotional connection. Like all nests in nature that are rising up from the land, it is to prevent strangers from invading.

The transparent ground floor has nothing to hide. Family life on this level connects with the neighbourhood, children playing, friends coming over, hospitality. The garden is all over the ground floor, which emphasises ones more that the nest is hanging in the air. The second floor expresses being connected with each other. It is covered with layers of protection. At the heart of this floor we see spying holes that bring fresh light inside.
