This design for a new building at the lake in the National Park pays homage to the old restaurant structure from the 1960s.

It consists of two white rings, one atop the other. The rings are connected on land and open up like a clam. The space between them forms a multi-purpose hall that can serve as a restaurant, concert hall, or ceremony venue.

The top ring extends into the park and is open to the public 24/7. Visitors can walk around it, enjoy the view, play in the water fountains, or watch concerts held on the wooden bridge below. This bridge system also provides access to the restaurant and, like the rest of the structure, is elevated above the water, allowing wildlife to pass underneath.

The design won first place in an open competition held by Ramat Gan’s municipality in celebration of its 100th anniversary.
