Bloom is a collection of rugs created after years of collecting flowers and examining their structures, colors, textures, etc.
As a child, I used to pick flowers and dry them between pages of books. The flattened petals created a new structure, not necessarily similar to the original flower. This transition from 3D to 2D fascinated me, and ultimately triggered Bloom's concept.
Each design in the collection is composed of crossing horizontal and vertical lines. The intersections on the created grid are highlighted with a 2D interpetation of different species of flowers.
The result is a clean graphic rug with natural tones, suitable for any space.

An exhibition of Frida Kahlo's paintings led to a further investigation of her life and work. One of the sentences used to describe Kahlo's marriage to Diego Rivera was "It is like a wedding between an elephant and a dove". This sparked the inspiration for the design of the table.
The relationship between the table's elements is about connections; Between two different worlds - between two different materials, shapes, textures, between two different temperatures, weights, masses, hues…
These differences result in one coherent whole, as the two lie within each other. The final product is simple, clean, and elegantly designed.
